Cherry blossom season is around the corner! My latest piece for Fine Gardening highlights my favorite cherry trees from Yoshino to Autumn Higan. The story includes some watch-outs such as my mother who planted her 'Prunus kanzan' , also known as Kwanzan Japanese cherry tree, way too close to her house. Now the branches press against the windows and from the inside it feels like you might be eaten by them.
